Family Photos
And here he is on a train to Krakow, Poland:
Apparently he started his foray in London, but found it to be too expensive and moved on to Paris, Amsterdam and points east. I assume that at this point he's in Germany, but he's awfully hard to pin down. He did post a comment yesterday on a previous post on this site, but so far I haven't received a full dispatch on the World Cup. He's obviously having a great time and doing a lot of moving from place to place, but I'm hoping that when he has time he can sit down and write me a guest column as he's done in the past. daniel, when you get a chance, put down the beer stein, take a break from that "Ole!" song and channel your inner Hemingway!
And since we're on the subject of family photos, here's one I just got of my sister Maureen and her girls Kira and Avery in Atlanta:
No real reason to post this photo, it's just cute.

All of Daniel's pictures were gorgeous. It looks like they are having a great time. The soccer game that they have tickets for is on June 22 in Nuremburg. The USA is not doing well, losing their first game 3-0, and tomorrow they have to play Italy.
i'm sorry that i haven't written an article yet. HOWEVER, mom is right. we are going to the game in a couple of days and i will be sure to write about it! the czeck republic game was a desaster, but the italy game was the best 1 to 1 tie i have ever seen. it is such a shame that there were three red cards in that game. the u.s. would have won an 11 on 11 game. any way, europe is great. we're in prague right now and we're heading to nurenburg in a couple of days for the ghana game. if the u.s. wins and italy wins the u.s. will advance!!!
cute!!
